Zhang Yimou directs a Chinese remake of Blood Simple, and the results are 2009’s A Woman, a Gun and a Noodle Shop. Also known as A Simple Noodle Story, there’s nothing simple about this stylized and colorful take on the Coen brothers’ original, so go on and have a look!
